TOUJIN AND KAGE FOR 2-IN-1 RELIEF

Leftose originally from Japan, is a medication for chesty coughs and sore throats. The challenge, was to highlight its dual properties of curing both a chesty cough and a sore throat. With the insight that Japanese products are highly effective and of good quality, the approach was to craft mascots to create top of mind recall and brand association for the medication. The mascots were named Toujin and Kage, a samurai and a ninja battling together as Leftose’s double heroes from Japan to bring 2 in 1 relief against chesty coughs and sore throats. Since the campaign rolled out through a product information website, bus ads and pharmacy POSMs, overall sales increased by 50% in 2015.
